Less than one week remains to vote in the First Nation School Board by-election

Date:  Tuesday 6 February 2024

With just six (6) days left, eligible electors are reminded to register and cast their vote in the First Nation School Board by-election.

Applications to vote by internet remains open until Monday, February 12 at 7:00 pm. All votes must be cast by February 12 at 8:00 pm.

All eligible electors are encouraged to take advantage of the convenient online application process. For those preferring a paper application, downloadable forms are available, which can be completed and returned with identification to schools@electionsyukon.ca

The application period to vote by mail is now closed.

 

The candidates in the byelection are:

  • Shelby Blackjack of Whitehorse; and
  • Mats’äsä̀na Mą (Sarina) Primozic of Haines Junction.
